BIOL 2230 - Microbiology
An introductory study of the morphology, physiology, pathogenicity, and control of bacteria. Also included are vertebrate immunology with particular emphasis on the components of the immune system and antigen-antibody interactions. The laboratory emphasizes the isolation and culture of bacteria using quantitative and diagnostic techniques. 3 hrs. lecture, 2 hrs. lab
